This variation of arm circles adds a very minor tricep stretch to the exercise. I usually do a couple of these in addition to some other arm/shoulder circle exercises as part of my shoulder warm up.
How To
Step 1
Bend your elbows and place your fingertips on the tops of your shoulders (if you canโt touch your shoulders with your fingers, thatโs OK, just keep them reaching towards your shoulders the whole time).
Step 2
Circle your elbows forwards while keeping your fingertips on (or reaching towards) your shoulders 5 times, then switch directions for another 5 circles.
